Grace Redeemer Church closely partners with organizations that provide an array of services to communities throughout northern New Jersey.
Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center
Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center serves women, men and teens at-risk for, or facing, an unplanned pregnancy or related concern. We provide free and confidential services including: pregnancy tests, medical confirmation of pregnancy via ultrasound, options education, limited STD screening, material resources and referrals, and post-abortion counseling.
New City Kids
New City Kids offers after school programming for local low-income youth. Children and teens get a chance to explore music and academics in a creative and fun environment. Though there are many challenges of urban life, especially for youth, these programs give children a safe place to feel and hear that they are valued and loved. NCK aims to draw children into hope by developing in them skills, talents, and desires for their future. By surrounding them with a community of love and development, we strive to set youth on a path of transformation that will carry them forward for the rest of their lives.
The Open Door seeks to empower marginalized immigrants to reach their full, God-given potential. We do this by offering an array of services, including ESL instruction, GED/TASC preparation, and computer literacy classes. The Open Door embodies a true “familia” mentality, as our students are loved, supported, and truly believed in!
Servant’s Heart is a non-profit organization devoted to the community of Bergen County in northern New Jersey. For over 20 years, we’ve been reaching out by building and restoring houses, homeless shelters, relief headquarters, and rehabilitation centers.
Star of Hope Ministries
Star of Hope Ministries is a donor-supported, non-profit ministry that partners churches together to make the furthest-reaching impact in churches, schools, and service organizations in urban centers that surround them (Paterson, Newark, Willingboro, NJ and beyond). SOHM serves those that serve people in need by training churches and organizations in Christian community development; mobilizing groups of people from across northern NJ to act and serve; and equipping SOHM’s Member Network with food and other resources that help them minister to their neighbors.
