Hello GRC!
Believe it or not, Fall and all its responsibilities and activities are just around the corner. Hard to believe, I know, but the Women’s Leadership Team wants you to be informed of what is coming up in the next several months for you and yours to plan your schedule. Even if you are not a woman, there is probably a woman in your life that would benefit from having this information!
Women’s Bible study will begin on Monday evening, September 18th on Zoom, and Tuesday morning in person in the Fellowship Hall. All women, 18 and older are encouraged to join this most important part of Women’s Ministry, studying the Word of God. We will be using Tim Keller’s book, “Romans 1-7 For You,” and in the Spring, we will use the following book for the remainder of Romans. Cost is $15 per book. Please register here or on the GRC App, and books will be available for pick-up on September 3, 10, and 17.
There will be one Women’s Lunch Bunch this Fall, Tuesday, September 26th at 11:00 AM right after morning Bible study. This is designed for fellowship, and all women are encouraged to attend. You may bring your own lunch OR you may pre-purchase your lunch by signing up here. Cost is $15.
Two Women’s Prayer and Pastries will be held this ministry year, and the first one will be held Saturday, September 30th at 9:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. All women are encouraged to attend this time of prayer and fellowship. Please sign up here so we can prepare for you!
This Fall, GRC Women will be hosting the entire West Hudson Presbytery for a One Day Retreat on October 28th featuring Jayne V. Clark speaking on, “Living in Light of Eternity.” Cost is $35 per woman, and late registration is $45, so register early! Limited childcare will also be available for a fee of $40 per child. Saturday, November 18th will be our Craft Day that will give young ladies 14 and up, and women the time to have fellowship and productive time together. There will be 3 different crafts to choose from, so choose wisely and sign-up here! Cost is $25 per person for supplies.
This year, The Women’s Ministry is delighted to come alongside Betsy Tyvoll to directly sponsor the wonderful ministry of Embrace Grace. We will be aiding in weekly efforts as well as providing benefits to women who find themselves in circumstances they did not foresee.
