My Missions Faith Promise 2022-2023
Since we are all part of the body and Christ and sent people, it is the desire of the GRC Missions Team to have 100% participation among our members, regardless of donation amount. Questions, email the Missions Team.
WHAT IS A FAITH PROMISE?
– It is Scriptural. (2 Cor 8:12, 9:7–8)
– It is an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to lead us through individual givers.
– It is an act of faith. (Heb 11:6)
– It is an organized approach to missions giving, allowing the GRC Missions Team to plan its annual budget.
A FAITH PROMISE IS NOT:
– It is not a pledge (Eccl 5:4–5) to the church.
– Something collected – it is freely given. (2 Cor 8:12).
– A substitute for your regular giving.
HOW FAITH PROMISE WORKS:
– Each member contributes the amount which God leads them to promise by faith to the GRC missions program.
– It is in addition to your tithes and offerings.
– The promise is made between the giver and God.
WAYS TO GIVE
Contributions can be made at any time; just designate MISSIONS FUND:
1. GRC website or App
2. Sunday offering baskets
3. Your online bank account
