We are intentional in our efforts to fulfill our Mission to make disciples. We EXTEND an invite to those who do not know Jesus. We provide opportunities to ENGAGE with the Gospel and ask questions. We ESTABLISH our faith by growing in knowledge through Bible study and community, and we EQUIP new leaders through deep accountability and continued study.

“Admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom,
so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.”
Colossians 1:28

EXTEND

We are always looking for a way to EXTEND an invite to learn more about Jesus to those who do not know. Whether it’s a personal conversation with a friend or an invitation to join a worship service, children’s event, youth group, or a service project, we want to live as disciples that build bridges of friendship or goodwill toward others at every opportunity.

ENGAGE

As God gives opportunity, we want to explicitly ENGAGE others with the Gospel message and make space to ask questions. In addition to equipping people to have spiritual conversations where they live, work, and play, we provide opportunities every spring and fall through Christianity Explored (CE) and Life Explored (LE) to explore the truth of the Gospel in a safe and welcoming environment.

ESTABLISH

We help ESTABLISH our faith by encouraging those new to GRC to start with GRC Explored, a 1-day seminar to learn about our Vision, Values, and Ministries, and the Discovery Group to build (or strengthen) their foundation for ongoing spiritual growth. Growth Groups provide ongoing community and teaching throughout the year. Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies and events help you to grow in your knowledge of the Bible and apply it in your life. Crossroads (Young Adults) gather for social events to foster friendships and rich community. Adult Christian Education (ACE) happens weekly during the Sunday School hour to teach and grow all on the Path of Discipleship in a co-ed setting.

EQUIP

In order to continue the cycle of EXTENDING, ENGAGING and ESTABLISHING, we seek to EQUIP new leaders. LIFE GROUPS are high commitment small groups of 4-5 people, meeting weekly to build a foundation of life-on-life-missional living. Officer Training equips members of GRC to serve as Elders, Deacons and Deaconesses.
